Length and Frequency of Sessions
Initial weekly counseling sessions are generally 45-50 minutes in length, but can vary according to need and schedules. As your counseling progresses, counseling sessions then may be scheduled to occur less frequently, for example, every other week or monthly.
Cost of Sessions
Session costs are based on an initial fee of $50 for the first session, when we will get to know each other and discuss the nature of our counseling relationship and your counseling goals. Following the first session, a flat rate of $70 per session will be charged. Typical counseling fees range from $110-150 per session; however, I am able to offer discounted fees since I will not be billing your insurance. Special scholarships may be considered on an as-needed basis. All payments must be made online on this site.
Format and Confidentiality of Sessions
Counseling sessions will be conducted in person and may also be conducted via Skype within the state of Ohio. Please note the limits of Skype technology confidentiality and see Skype's security policy here, Please also note the limitations of electronic therapy as noted in my disclosure form below. If for any reason a power outage or technical difficulty occurs during a Skype session, resulting in a loss of connection, I will call you within 5 minutes of the loss of connection. If a Skype technical difficulty cannot be readily restored, we will re-schedule the session and the session cost will be refunded to you on a prorated basis. Please note that all documents received throughout our counseling relationship via e-mail and fax will be stored electronically in an encrypted, secure electronic filing system. Every effort will be made throughout our counseling relationship to maintain your privacy and confidentiality.
Getting started with counseling is easy. To get started:
1.) Contact me to schedule your first session.
2.) If your sessions are to be conducted via Skype, install Skype on your computer and sign up for a Skype account, if you have not already done so. I am happy to assist you with this via phone. I will also call you prior to our first session to set up a secure Skype connection between our computers.
3.) Before your first session, please click below and download review, complete, and sign and date the following documents:
Please ensure that all documents are complete and signed and dated before you send them. Also, please complete one Third Party Disclosure Form for each applicable physician and third party who you are also seeing regarding your health care to ensure the best team collaboration and consultation.

5..)For Skype Sessions, please also send me a copy of your current Ohio Driver's license prior to your fist session. We will review these documents together during your first session.
6..) Please allow plenty of time to arrive at your session. Please remember that I have a 24 hour cancellation policy for all sessions. For Skype sessions, please ensure that you are logged into Skype prior to our session time.
